This one’s a bit different – it’s for those of us who love old school science fiction, heroic fantasy and the pulps – whether full time or as a change of pace. https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/678700 Cirsova #4 contains my story “The Witch of Elrica” and is available for pre-order now, with full release December 2.
I’m pleased to announce that Penumbra’s September issue, in honor of Lewis Carroll, is now available in all electronic formats. The magazine features my story “Saturday Night At The Wonderland Club” as well as stories by H.L. Fullerton, E. Catherine Tobler and DeAnna Knippling. Get your copy here.
Penumbra e-zine has purchased my story “Saturday Night At The Wonderland Club” for their “Lewis Carroll” themed issue. It’s one of the most challenging stories I’ve ever written – trying to get the right balance of surreality and social comment was tough, but enjoyable.
You can read the story here. The full table of contents for the issue, which is free, is here. You will also find a link to download the story in .pdf from this page. There’s a nice mixed bag of shorts here…please read more than just mine and support Allegory!
Short story “Ben’s Moonshine” (fantasy) has been sold to Allegory magazine, with a planned run date of September 1.
Just as the title says – Edwin E. Smith Publishing has accepted “The Locket,” one of my non-genre stories, to run in the September issue (most likely).
“Suits And Flannel” (fantasy) to Big Pulp e-zine. “For The Children” (science fiction) to Simian Publishing’s “The Future Embodied” anthology.
Sold a horror short story, “Winter,” to Bards & Sages Quarterly. Also, Transpecial got a great review. Read it here.
Read this wonderful piece of flashfic right here. While you’re there check out some of the other monster-themed stories, not all of them strictly horror. (Although I wouldn’t want to meet that dog on a dark night.
Short story “Contact” sold to Mustang’s Monster Corral. Nice little ezine.
