Short steampunk piece “Ariadne” is going to be read by the Gallery of Curiosities steampunk podcast. (This is not my first steampunk piece – that would be Water Demons).
Sold another story to Bards and Sages Quarterly. This one is sci-horror.
My flash piece, “Border,” has been accepted by EGM Shorts, a project of Evil Girlfriend Media and Jennifer Brozek.
Penumbra e-zine has purchased my story “Saturday Night At The Wonderland Club” for their “Lewis Carroll” themed issue. It’s one of the most challenging stories I’ve ever written – trying to get the right balance of surreality and social comment was tough, but enjoyable.
Stupefying Stories just accepted my genre-bending short story “Soulless Machine.” (A bit of a finally – I’ve been trying to find the right home for this rather strange story for a while).
Sold short story “No Magic” to Untied Shoelaces of the Mind.
Short story “Ben’s Moonshine” (fantasy) has been sold to Allegory magazine, with a planned run date of September 1.
Just as the title says – Edwin E. Smith Publishing has accepted “The Locket,” one of my non-genre stories, to run in the September issue (most likely).
Sold a horror short story, “Winter,” to Bards & Sages Quarterly. Also, Transpecial got a great review. Read it here.
